This privacy policy (“Policy”) has been drafted in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (“SPDI Rules”) and other applicable laws that require publishing of the privacy policy for collection, usage, storage, disclosure and transfer of sensitive personal data or information.

Shubhlaxmi Multiservice India Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “SMS IPL ,” “us,” “our,” “we,” which shall mean and include its subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, and assigns) owns and operates this platform whether accessible on www.onlinesaathi.org or such other URLs as may be designated by Online Saathi (“Website”), or through our mobile applications Online Saathi App, Online Saathi Agent App, or such other applications as may be designated by Online Saathi (“App”) (together the “Platform”). In the course of using the Platform or availing the services via the online/offline application forms and questionnaires, Online Saathi may become privy to the personal information of its Users, including information that is of a confidential nature. “User(s)” or “you” shall mean and include all individuals, companies, private organizations, value chain entrepreneurs, consumers, employees, consultants, agents that visit, use, deal with, and/or interact with or transact through the Platform or avail of our services.

 

Online Saathi is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of its Users and has taken all necessary and reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of User information. Online Saathi shall not be held liable for disclosure of confidential information if such disclosure is in accordance with this Policy or in accordance with the terms of any agreements entered into with the Users.

 

We collect personal information from our stakeholders, and this Policy describes our policies and procedures for collection, use, storage, processing, disclosure, and protection of any information, including but not limited to business or personal information provided by you.

Socio-economic and demographic data: This data shall include name, age, gender, income, caste, sub-caste, religion, landholding, family members, educational qualifications, nature of job, employment status, corporate status, and any other additional details that may be required to determine eligibility for various schemes declared by the government from time to time.
2. Identity and Contact Data: This data includes contact information such as email address, mailing address, phone number, date of birth, financial information, if any, personal identifiers such as passport number, permanent account number, driving license, unique identifiers such as user name, and account number.
3. Financial and Transaction Data: This data shall be limited to your bank account number.
4. Usage and Technical Data: Information relating to logs is automatically reported by the User’s browser each time the User accesses a web page. When the User uses the Platform, Online Saathi’s servers automatically record certain information that the User’s web browser or app sends whenever the User visits any website or uses any app. These server logs may include information such as the User’s web request, Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, referring/exit pages and URLs, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, location, application features used, and other such information. Online Saathi uses this information, which does not identify Users, to analyse trends, administer the Platform, track Users’ movements around the Platform, and gather demographic information about the User base as a whole. Online Saathi does not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.
5. Location: We require information about your signup and current location, which we get from signals such as your IP address or device settings, to securely and reliably set up and maintain your account and to provide our services to you. Subject to your settings, we may collect, use, and store additional information about your location, such as your current precise position or places where you have previously used our Platform to operate our services.
6. Marketing and Communications Data: This includes both a record of your decision to subscribe or to withdraw from receiving marketing materials from us or from our third parties;
7. Other Information Provided by Users: Information that the Users provide when they write directly to Online Saathi (including by way of email); information provided over the telephone; information provided by completing surveys; and information provided in other lawful ways.

We use and process User’s personal information for a range of purposes, which may include but is not limited to:

• Facilitating, processing your requests, and transactions and providing you with transaction and post-transaction-related services, providing, improving, and marketing our services, including site content and performance;

• Monitoring, improving, and administering the Platform;
• Verifying the identity and suitability of clients for certain services;
